Adam Hartmann leads Quona's operations and investor relations activities. Adam has a professional background working in non-profit, legal, and financial organizations. He served as a legal assistant team leader for Sidley Austin LLP’s complex commercial litigation group, analyzing credit and private placement deal structuring, and managed legal teams researching evidence related to multi-billion dollar international fraud matters. He also supported Sidley’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act group which provides guidance to clients on best-practices for conducting business operations in emerging markets and mergers and acquisitions activities with global companies. Adam also has experience working with Bank of New York Mellon’s multicurrency product team and with Transparency International’s international development efforts.
Adam holds a MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School concentrating in finance, where he was also a Dean’s Research Scholar and was awarded a grant to examine the financial returns of impact investing. He also attended American University’s School of International Service where he earned a MA in International Affairs and a BA in International Studies.
